Hairdressers are being trained to talk about climate action

Words by Abi Scaife

Hairdressers are being trained on how to talk to their clients about climate change.

Interesting! Why?

The owner of the Paloma salon in Sydney, Australia, has organised seminars to teach their fellow hairdressers about climate action - and how to discuss it with clients.

The A Brush With Climate workshops tackles how to bring up the topic, as well as meaningful things that people can do in their everyday lives to help the climate.

Owner Paloma Rose Garcia decided that, if you have someone sat in your chair for a significant amount of time, you might as well use it to do some good for the planet - and we love that!

If you’re interested in helping with climate education, consider getting involved with the Climate Coalition, a charity aiming to tackle climate change and protect nature!
