The letting agency with a difference

Words by Abi Scaife

A letting agency is trying to fix the housing crisis - and has provided 1,000 homes for those in need in the process.

Sounds amazing!

It really is! Homes for Good has been going since 2013, and is a letting agency run as a social enterprise.

They renovate homes and provide them to low-income tenants at affordable rates. Homes for Good has even provided accommodation for Ukranian refugees, helping to set them up with a home, furniture, benefits and welfare to help them settle in the country.

Wow, that’s great.

Yep. Homes for Good goes above and beyond for their tenants, helping to improve their quality of life, rather than just operating as a profit driven business.

So far, the agency has developed 330 homes and manages 220 more, and has been recognised with an international UN award, at the World Habitat Awards for their work.

Well done to Homes for Good for making the world a better, and more comfortable place.
