There’s a new gift card on the market which could be just what you need this festive season, to get out and about enjoying yourself with the people who matter most.
It all started when founder Calypso Rose started wondering why gift cards were so "boring and corporate", instead of being easy to spend on memorable moments.
She tells Smiley News: “The Good Times card is a gift card for experiences across the UK to inspire people to discover new adventures and spend time with friends.
“Spending quality time with friends is what life is about. It doesn't need to be a big adventure to be really special. I'm motivated by making a difference and creating new ideas so the business is launching with purpose at its core from the start."

Calypso says as we come out of the last two years, she wanted to help the live event industry and make it super easy for them to be a part of The Good Times Card. "Our mission is to leave no card unspent - but there's so many amazing events you can go to… or get delivered to your door," she says.
The Good Times Card is made of bamboo, and all packaging is recycled. You simply load it up with however much money you fancy, give it to a friend, and they can spend it directly on any experiences. You can use your card for some of life’s mini adventures, with access to unique sports, undiscovered retreats, brilliant festivals, music, food, tours and more.

The Good Times Card is also the mental health charity Mindapples, who go into universities and schools, and give students the tools to look after their mental health.
“They say looking after your mental health should be as regular as brushing your teeth. We are donating 50p from every order into a fund so that we can work with them on projects in the New Year,” Calypso said.
