To build momentum for renewable energy, business leaders are increasingly stepping up. Over the last few years, data shows how more companies are offsetting their emissions, with much of this coming from investment in renewables.

Although many offsetting projects come from redundant purchases of already successful initiatives, others lead to positive advances. Here are some of the top ethical companies financing renewable energy.
