Triodos Bank named 'best ethical provider'

Triodos Bank UK was voted the ‘Best Ethical Financial Provider’ at the British Bank Awards 2022.

The awards recognise financial companies that offer the best products, innovation and service – and are entirely voted for by customers. In total, more than 81,000 people voted in this year’s awards.

Triodos Bank is focused on our planet – and our future. It focuses on making money work for positive change and uses customers’ deposits to provide finance and tailored support to social enterprises and charities making an impact, both from an environmental and social perspective.

The bank's impact investments have been hand picked by experts using a themed approach, which allows the fund managers to screen for companies that have a positive impact on society and the environment. A list of all companies in each fund's investment portfolio in published every quarter, for total transparency.

Triodos is also the only UK bank to offer a crowdfunding platform and offers direct investment opportunities via www.triodoscrowdfunding.co.uk.

The British Bank Awards are now in their eighth year and are organised by Smart Money People. Triodos builds on its success at the awards in 2020, when it was crowned crowned 'Customer Service Champion’, and 2021, when it was named ‘Best Savings Provider’.
