Many people are choosing to shop secondhand – and one of the ways you can do this online is with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) eBay shop.

Lots of people wonder how they can find the BHF eBay shop – or wonder what the name is. But it's pretty simple. Search 'Britsih Heart Foundation Shop' on eBay and it'll give you your results. Or, you can just click here

If you’re on the hunt for something extra special, the online shop offers antique watches, vintage jewellery and signed memorabilia. With 120,000 items sold each year, it’s the perfect place to find high value treasures and sought after collectables that can make truly unique and personal gifts. Oh, and don't forget, the charity also has a Depop page.

Lots of the items are for collection in person – especially furniture – but other smaller items, like accessories and clothes can be posted for a small fee. There are also items for auction, as well as those that you can buy right away with the 'Buy it now' button.

Each year, BHF fund over £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Whilst some people may think the charity only studies heart disease, their work also encompasses heart disea, stroke, vascular dementia and diabetes.

In 2019, BHF saved an incredible 71,000 tonnes of items from landfill and prevented 135,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions from being released into the atmosphere.

The BHF eBay shop for Christmas in 2020

Last year, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) asked the public to shop a little differently by buying at least one preloved gift from a charity shop, whether it’s online or in store.

BHF challenged shoppers to find one of a kind gifts in their shops or eBay store to help consumers reduce waste and save money this Christmas.

Their shops are always filled to the brim with rare and unique finds at affordable prices - from books and accessories to designer clothes and retro glassware.

"The Covid-19 crisis has had a devastating impact on our income, potentially cutting in half our research funding for this year and putting future life saving discoveries at risk," they said at the time. "We are urgently appealing for support this Christmas and hope that our Charity Shop Challenge will raise vital funds at a time when hearts need help more than ever."

To get involved in BHF's Charity Shop Challenge, people went to their nearest store or browsed the BHF eBay and Depop stores for unique and affordable gifts. They shared their finds on social media using the hashtag #BoughtAtBHF.
