Charity leaders pledge to 'Stand With Trans'

Words by Abi Scaife

Charity leaders have come together to support transgender people.

Amazing! Tell me more.

The ‘Stand With Trans’ campaign was launched on Monday 3rd July, and aims to support transgender people in the charity sector.

Kevin Taylor-McKnight, founder of the campaign group Charity So Straight, who is behind the campaign, said:

“We staunchly advocate that trans lives matter and charity sector bosses can play a vital role in moulding a Britain free from discrimination, prejudice, and hate.”

He encouraged charity leaders to get involved and sign up for an informative seminar on 20th July, about supporting transgender people in the charity sector.

Who has supported the campaign?

CEOs from charities like the Centre for Mental Health, The Children’s Society, and the Teenage Cancer Trust have all spoken up in support of the campaign.

These charities, and many more, are committing themselves to supporting the Stand With Trans campaign, to support their transgender colleagues, and beneficiaries.
