Daniel Craig gifts personal 007 x Triumph motorcycles to raise funds for RNLI's 200th anniversary

Words by Cheyanne Bryan

Actor Daniel Craig, famous for portraying James Bond, has donated his personal collection of limited edition 007 x Triumph motorcycles to support the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in celebrating its 200th anniversary of lifesaving efforts.

Daniel Craig has been a dedicated supporter of the RNLI, previously backing a campaign for the Hoylake station near his hometown and even joining the lifeboat crew for a rescue mission at Ramsgate.

To help raise critical funds for the charity, Daniel Craig has gifted two limited edition motorcycles, inspired by the bikes that featured in the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die the #003/250 Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition and the #001/250 Tiger 900 Bond Edition, to be auctioned off. Alongside the motorbikes, the auction winner will also have the chance to ride with Bond stunt coordinator Lee Morrison and 007's stunt double, Paul Edmondson.

Daniel Craig said: “The RNLI has been close to my heart all my life since growing up near the RNLI station at Hoylake. I have incredible memories of going afloat with the RNLI crew at Ramsgate to experience firsthand what it’s like to be part of the organisation that has saved over 146,000 lives since starting up over 200 years ago.

He continued: “I am honoured and immensely proud to support the RNLI and hope the auction of Triumph’s Limited Edition Bond motorcycles proves popular…the opportunity is not to be missed and will help raise funds for the truly lifesaving cause that is the RNLI.”

These limited-edition motorcycles will be auctioned by Bonhams|Cars Motorcycles at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show on October 12th and 13th, 2024, in Staffordshire, UK.
