Disneyland Paris supports sick children in France

For over 30 years (33 years to be exact), Disneyland Paris has offered an exclusive merchandise campaign that supports unwell children and teenagers in France.

Through a long-standing partnership with Pièces Jaunes, the resort has helped raise funds to improve the daily lives of children and teenagers in hospitals across the country. An exclusive and limited edition collection are sold exclusively in the parks with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity. 

Pièces Jaunes, an initiative led by the Fondation des Hôpitaux to finance projects that make hospital stays less stressful for young patients. These projects range from family rooms and play areas to innovative medical equipment and adolescent care spaces.

With millions of visitors annually, Disneyland Paris offers Pièces Jaunes a unique platform to raise awareness about pediatric hospital care while inviting guests to contribute in a simple, tangible way.

Buying a piece of the merchandise is more than just a souvenir of a magical trip, but supports an important mission too. The collection features a totebag, minnie ears, pin badge and socks – all with accents of Pièces Jaunes’ signature yellow.

In addition to this fundraising support from the popular European theme park, they invited over 300 hospitalised patients to enjoy the parks between the 13th and 14th of January — showing just how dedicated they are to the cause.  

Over the decades, the collaboration has evolved while staying true to its purpose. Disney Cast Members (the special lingo used for staff members) regularly support the campaign through in-park collections and awareness efforts, reinforcing the human side of the initiative. For many families, encountering the campaign during their visit creates a meaningful connection between Disney magic and real-world impact.

By combining creativity, storytelling, and generosity, Disneyland Paris has helped Pièces Jaunes remain a well-known and trusted cause in France. As the campaign continues, it stands as a reminder that small gestures, like donating spare change or purchasing a special item, can help bring comfort and hope to children when they need it most.

The partnerships are available to buy exclusively at Disneyland Paris until the 7th February.
