Get funny for money - the comedians fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Words by Abi Scaife

Comedy stars are taking to the stage to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK.

Amazing! Tell me more.

Shake With Laughter is Parkinson's UK's comedy fundraiser taking place at the iconic Comedy Story on 11 October, from 8 pm.

Among the talent getting funny for charity is Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Nabil Abdulrashid, as well as Phil Jerky who was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s aged just 36.

So what’s the deal?

Shake with Laughter was founded by award-winning comedian Rob Deering in 2012 after his dad was diagnosed with the condition.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £23.50 per person (£20 for students), to help raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. To buy your tickets for the event, head to the charity's website.
