The online auction for a children's hospice

Words by Cheyanne Bryan

Haven House Children’s Hospice has announced their summer auction with a vast array of prizes up for grabs.

The charity cares for seriously ill babies and children, and is auctioning a range of items from European getaways to music memorabilia. Each bid helps Haven House to support families to cope with the difficulties that come with looking after a child with a serious illness.

The funds raised will be able to help provide continuous care offered at their hospice, based in the picturesque grounds in Woodford Green. Their services include outreach in homes and the local community, day and overnight stays, bereavement support, as well as enriching activities such as sensory play, music therapy and physiotherapy.

So far the auction has raised over £1,400. and will run until the end of June.
