Helping young people to thrive in the creative industries

Words by Abi Scaife

Reform Radio, a radio station dedicated to supporting young people, will start broadcasting for the first time on DAB.

What’s the story?

Reform Radio, based in Manchester, is a CIC that helps young people find work in the creative industries. From April 2022 to March 2023, Reform Radio worked with 316 young people across 812 creative sessions, with 84% progressing into employment, further training or volunteering.

That’s amazing!

It is! And now, Reform Radio will start broadcasting on DAB - that’s Digital Audio Broadcasting, an incredibly common digital radio standard. This will help Reform Radio reach - and therefore help - so many more people in need of work.

To support Reform Radio, visit their website - and give them a listen!
