Kia UK has announced their latest national charity partnership with The Children’s Society, strengthening its commitment to making a positive difference in communities across England and Wales.

The collaboration marks a significant step in Kia UK’s long-standing programme of social responsibility, shifting its focus towards supporting vulnerable children and young people at a national level.

At the heart of the partnership is a simple but powerful pledge: Kia UK will donate £1 to The Children’s Society for every car it sells. With more than 113,500 vehicles registered by Kia in 2025 alone, this commitment is set to generate a substantial annual contribution, providing vital funding for services that help children and young people before problems reach crisis point.

The Children’s Society works across England and Wales to support young people facing challenges such as poor mental health, poverty, exploitation and abuse. Funds raised through the partnership will help provide early mental health support, safe spaces where young people can talk openly, and practical skills to build resilience and brighter futures.

The move follows the successful conclusion of Kia UK’s four-year partnership with Surrey Wildlife Trust, which focused on environmental education and conservation initiatives within the county. While that collaboration delivered lasting benefits for local habitats and communities, the new partnership reflects Kia UK’s ambition to broaden its impact nationwide, reaching families and young people across the country.

Beyond financial donations, the partnership will include fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns and opportunities for Kia UK employees and customers to get involved. These include volunteering at one of The Children’s Society’s 103 charity shops nationwide, helping to strengthen the connection between the business, its workforce and the communities it serves.

The human impact of The Children’s Society’s work is clear. One young person who attended an early support hub described it as a welcoming place where they felt able to talk freely, leave worries behind and feel lighter when returning home – a powerful reminder of how early support can transform lives.

To underline Kia UK’s commitment, President and CEO Paul Philpott has pledged to run the 2026 London Marathon to raise additional funds for the partnership.

In a statement he commented: “We couldn’t be prouder to partner with this leading charity. It saddens us to recognise that across the UK, so many children are suffering unseen and unheard, struggling with mental health, living in poverty, and in danger from exploitation and abuse.

The Children’s Society supports a brighter future for all children, and we know what a difference Kia UK’s contribution will make towards furthering the cause. Together we can help build a society where all children can thrive, not just survive.”

Speaking further about the collaboration, he said it was a source of pride for Kia UK, recognising the urgent need to support children who are too often unseen and unheard.

With this new partnership, Kia UK and The Children’s Society are coming together to drive meaningful change – helping ensure that young people across England and Wales are supported, heard and given the chance to thrive.
