A local family-owned trading company, the RO Group, has returned with their annual charity quiz night.

Based in Potters Bar, the tradition — now in its 22nd year —  brings together all members of the community to support local charities, and this year has raised an impressive £13,000 for the Herts Disability Sports Foundation (HDSF)

The Hertfordshire-located charity provides and promotes sporting activities for people with disabilities across the county and this year’s quiz coincides with the charity’s No Limits 2026 campaign, which is focused on driving lasting change and moving common change many people with disabilities face when it comes to taking part in physical activities.

Ros Cramp, Director of Herts Disability Sports Foundation Charity, stated: “We were blown away by the amount of money raised at the RO Group Quiz Night and the support from all the staff involved. So much goes into an event like this and we can’t thank the RO team enough for all their hard work and dedication that goes into the Quiz year after year.”

Additionally, Edward Rowlandson, Group Managing Director of the RO, commented: “We are delighted to have raised so much money for the Herts Disability Sports Foundation this year, a charity that makes a real and lasting impact across Hertfordshire. By providing adapted opportunities for those who cannot access mainstream physical activities, HDSF ensures that more people can take part in sport, build confidence and feel a genuine sense of belonging.”

Over the event’s lifetime, RO group has raised close to £120,000, for various local community organisations and charities.
