South London Cares tackles loneliness and isolation across Southwark and Lambeth by bringing older and younger neighbours together.
The idea is to share time, laughter, new experiences, and friendship – so that no one will feel left behind. As part of The Cares Family charity, the mission is to reduce loneliness and isolation amongst older and young people; improve neighbours' connection; and bring people together to bridge the gap across social, generational and cultural divides. We headed down to a Brunch Club hosted by South London Cares to find out more.
