Pebbles Project Wins Bicester Collection International Impact Award at Smiley Charity Film Awards!

The Smiley Charity Film Awards’ The Bicester Collection International Impact award has been announced!

At the Smiley Charity Film Awards Ceremony 2025, it was announced that the Pebbles Project has won the Film of the Year award. Pebbles Project is a brilliant international charity, aiming to enable children and young adults from agricultural communities to reach their full potential.

They support young people aged 0-25 through education, health, and nutrition services in disadvantaged communities in the Western Cape in South Africa.

Their winning film, titled ‘Kindness’, shows Sophie Warner, the Founder and CEO of the Pebbles Project, and the incredible impact her charity is having on the lives of young people.

Pebbles Project were presented with the Bicester Collection International Impact award yesterday evening at the Smiley Charity Film Awards ceremony on 20th March, World Happiness Day 2025. 

To Smiley News, Sylvie Freund-Pickavance, the Group Strategy and Business Development Director said: "We're international, and to be able to partner with an organisation like Smiley to help with our size and power, I suppose to some degree, to help shed some light on the work of all these wonderful, wonderful charities is an honor and a privilege."

The award ceremony took place at Indigo at the O2, and showcased some of the year’s best charity films, giving charity representatives a chance to walk the red carpet alongside a star-studded guest list.
