The Man Walking Over 2,000 Miles to Save Football

Would you walk over 2,000 miles for charity? That’s exactly what Xavier is doing with Walk92 - an epic trek to every single one of the 92 football league clubs across England and Wales.

Starting on 2 August in Plymouth and finishing on 1 November in Newcastle, he’s clocking over 2,000 miles in just 92 days. That’s trainers worn thin, blistered toes, and endless service-station sandwiches - all in the name of showing that football isn’t just about overpriced tickets, private ownership, and the shouting matches we’ve come to know. It’s about community, purpose, and proving that the game can change lives for the better.

Along the way, Xavier is raising awareness and funds for a line-up of charity partners who use football as a force for good. Think grassroots projects, youth empowerment, and community outreach that brings the beautiful game back to the people. And here’s the kicker - you can get involved too. Whether you join a leg of the journey, donate to the cause, or simply spread the word, it’s about walking together towards something bigger than the 90 minutes on the pitch.

So lace up, cheer him on, and remember: this isn’t just a walk - it’s football for good, one blister at a time.
