The underwear labels promoting cancer checks

Words by Abi Scaife

Morrisons are reminding people to check in with their bodies - using their underwear.

Tell me more!

The labels on Morrison’s pants and bras now carry a cancer check message from the NHS. Morrison’s ‘Nutmeg’ brand will be showing off the new labels in 240 stores across the UK.

LONDON, ENGLAND - August 21: In this image released on August 21st, New Morrisons Nutmeg underwear labels are shown with NHS messaging as part of NHS England and Morrisons partnership to encourage shoppers via NHS advice on underwear labels, to contact their GP practice if they spot potential symptoms of breast and testicular cancer.

The label encourages people to check themselves out for lumps, bumps, swelling or other unusual changes.

Why is this so important?

Knowing your body and checking it for changes can help to catch cancer and other illnesses. Doing it regularly can help catch them early - and get you the help you need.
