The Young V&A - previously the V&A Museum of Childhood - reopens on the 1st of July. The museum will have free admission and houses three new galleries - Play, Imagine and Design - that feature 2,000 objects dating from 2,300 BC to today from all around the world.

Each new gallery will feature interactive exhibits designed to encourage kids' creativity and ingenuity, to help them gain confidence and grow.

A free Summer Festival takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July with fun-filled activities and performances, to celebrate the new opening!
