A 13-year-old who has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy has run over 400 miles for charity.

After being diagnosed with Epilepsy in January 2020, Zac made it his mission to increase awareness and raise funds for Young Epilepsy. Young Epilepsy is an incredible charity that supports young people with epilepsy, and their families.

Young Epilepsy supported Zac and his family when they learnt of his diagnosis, offering guidance on how the next steps. They also have a school and college for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, giving them a safe space in which to learn.

Starting on the 1st January 2024, Zac has run a mile every day on behalf of each of the 172 students, each day wearing the name of a child to support the struggles they have to go through on a daily basis.

It’s amazing to see such dedication from such a young person!
