AJ & Curtis Pritchard are on a mission to spread awareness of some incredible causes, one charity visit at a time. Fresh from attending the 8th annual Smiley Charity Film Awards, the dynamic duo is gearing up for their next adventure.
Their latest stop? Priors Court.
Priors Court provides specialised care and education tailored to the unique needs of children with complex autism. With a commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse challenges faced by each student, Priors Court fosters a supportive and enriching environment that makes a significant difference in the lives of children and their families.
Joining forces with Priors Court, AJ & Curtis aim to shine a spotlight on the importance of specialised care for children with complex autism and the impact it has on their development and well-being.
The brothers were eager to learn more about the innovative programs and therapies implemented at Priors Court, which are tailored to each child's specific needs, promoting skill development, communication, and independence.
Priors Court's holistic approach to care not only focuses on the child but also supports and empowers families, creating a network of understanding and assistance.
During their visit, AJ & Curtis discovered the collaborative approach that defines Priors Court. They observed students working in the bakery, took part in a PE session, visited a classroom, witnessed an epic Band performance, tended to the farm animals and also caught a glimpse of their soon to be completed state of the art performance centre.
Up to 80% of young people at Prior’s Court are pre-verbal and their arts provision offers a powerful means of communicating needs, expressions and feelings, whatever their background or ability. While there is currently a lack of purpose-built theatrical spaces to support the needs of autistic young people with complex needs.
Priors Court is creating an innovative and ground-breaking performing arts centre – a bespoke on-site facility to help transform the lives of autistic young people with complex needs, both at Prior's Court and in the wider community.
Catch the full adventure of AJ & Curtis at Priors Court and see how they lend their voices to this important cause, advocating for the support and development of children with complex autism.
