For another year, Chilly’s and Roundhouse are championing the next generation of artists through the Resident Artist programme.
11 emerging artists from across the UK and beyond have joined the 2025/26 Roundhouse Resident Artist programme, with support from reusable lifestyle brand Chilly’s.
This prestigious programme gives young creatives aged 18–25 the tools, time, and space to develop their craft – with access to free studio time, creative mentoring, industry networking and paid gigs on iconic stages.
The new cohort includes musicians Emmeline, YAZ, Hana Amaya, TobitheFreak, lulu melons, and Carδamo; spoken word artists Thea and MyselfBlaize; poet-dancer Rosie Robertson; and theatremakers Santi Tonauas Castro and Eliezer Gore.
This year’s Resident Artists follow in the footsteps of exciting alumni like Jack Rooke, Amy Gadiaga, and Marla Kether, whose careers have taken them to BAFTA wins, MOBO nominations and Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage.
The programme is also rooted in shared values, with Chilly’s supporting both the environment and creative empowerment. Together, Roundhouse and Chilly’s are creating new opportunities for genre-defying, boundary-pushing talent.
Jack Prideaux, Associate Creative Producer at the Roundhouse said: “It’s brilliant to be welcoming this amazing group of artists. I can’t wait to see what they achieve.”
Incoming Roundhouse Resident Artist, Emmeline, said: “As someone whose work straddles speech, and song, and poetry, I was really keen to be part of a programme that understood the fundamental links between all these practises, and the inevitable act of juggling that being an early career artist in London asks of you.“
And 2024/25 Resident Artist Geo Aghinea added “This programme has been transformative, it’s given me opportunities I never thought possible.”
