The continuation of our dedication to showcasing different causes around the world and how they’re impacting local communities falls to the planet this week. The climate is changing - and without smart, evidence-driven research, that news would fall on deaf ears or, even worse, none at all.
This week we're covering all things planet, hearing from climate activists right through to showing you the incredible work done by international wildlife charities. Whether we live in the Northernmost reaches of the globe or the South Pole, the climate plays a role in all of our lives. It’s our duty to take what these experts say seriously.
We’ll be hearing from presenter and adventurer Simon Reeve, who talks about the most poignant examples he’s witnessed by living sustainably alongside nature in the real world. We also visited a US-based wildlife charity, who are doing amazing work by rescuing and rehabilitating animals at risk. All of this serves to protect our planet — because we’d be smart to remember that, right now, it’s the only one we have.
You can do your bit, too, as we’ll be sharing ideas on how to celebrate your holidays sustainably. Help us highlight the good work that is being done for our planet and spread positive news that leaves our world in a better place for the generation that comes after us.
