Families walk 15 miles for cancer

Words by Abi Scaife

A 15-mile fundraiser is set to raise hundreds for a cancer charity.

Tell me more.

The Banham Marsden March has returned to help raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

The 15-mile walk between The Royal Marsden’s two hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton is sponsored by leading security provider Banham, who has been involved since 2015.

A fun-filled, family day out on Sunday 14th May, you can either join in for the full 15 miles or just join in for the final five miles. There is also the chance to enjoy local entertainment and a selection of delicious food at the fun-filled, finish-line celebration.

What else?

The Banham Marsden March at Home has also returned, so that non-locals are able to take part in the fundraiser remotely. Taking part from your home gives you the opportunity to choose your route and distance as you explore the best of your local area!

If you want to get involved in this excellent fundraiser, you can find out more information and sign up on the Royal Marsden website.
