The cost of living crisis is affecting families all over the country – and for many families, this can become even harder during school holidays.
A viral post on Twitter from Nathifa J revealed some of the places kids can eat free during the Easter holidays this year, to help families who may be struggling.
We looked into 5 of them to find out more.
Kids can eat free in Morrisons cafes from 3pm if you buy an adult’s meal with a value of £4.50 or over. The kids’ mea; includes a piece of fruit as well as a drink. You can find out more about the T&Cs on the supermarket’s website.
From 4-22 April, if you spend £5 or more in the M&S Café, you’ll get one free kids’ meal deal worth £3.95. The meal includes a sandwich, toastie, pizza or pasta, a snack (such as gingerbread or a chocolate lolly), a piece of fruit and a drink. Find out more.
Children can eat for free from Monday to Friday after 3pm in Asda cafes, if you spend £4 in the cafe. Their kids’ hot meals come with a free portion of vegetables. There’s also free baby food – you’ll receive a free Ella’s Kitchen baby food pouch with any purchase in the café. Find out more.

At these chains, two children can get free breakfast for every paying adult who eats. The All-You-Can-Eat breakfast buffet costs £9.50, with two kids under 16 eligible to eat with every adult breakfast purchased. Find out more.
