We stopped by the The Malta Trust Foundation to have a look at the meaningful work they do for children and young people all across Europe.
The Malta Trust Foundation is dedicated to creating a meaningful impact on the lives of young people, with a focus on disability, mental health, well-being, education, and youth empowerment.
On our visit we got to take a look at their innovative programmes and strategic partnerships, the charity ensures that each initiative brings about lasting, tangible change.
Collaborating closely with experts, practitioners, businesses, and civil society, the foundation works to break down barriers, providing essential support to help young people realise their full potential.
Founded in 2015 by Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, former President of Malta and a lifelong advocate for social justice, the foundation remains committed to uplifting and empowering young people, ensuring no child is left behind. She said:
“3 million disabled children in the EU are at risk of being marginalised. Driven by a commitment to support those in need, I founded the Malta Trust Foundation.”
