Following her Grammy’s speech, calling for a liveable wage and health care for developing artists, Chappell Roan has made a sizable $25,000 donation to do just that.

Tell Me More!

As of late, Chappell Roan has been at the forefront of advocating for better support for struggling artists. The country-pop singer, who had previously called for more accessible healthcare for musicians, has now put her words into action by pledging a significant donation to support fellow artists in need.

In an act of solidarity, Noah Kahan and Charli XCX have joined Chappell Roan and also donated $25,000 each to aid struggling artists. This gesture demonstrates the power of community in the music industry and shines a light on the need for sustainable resources for artists in need. And many artists have publicly spoken out in praise of Chappell’s actions.

What’s the Bigger Picture?

The contributions from these artists are more than just financial support—they are a rallying cry for the wider industry to do more for its creatives. As we move forward, we need to look beyond the glittering surface of celebrity and recognise the everyday struggles that many musicians face.

From healthcare and mental well-being to the financial strain of touring and recording, these donations remind us that artists often need more than just applause—they need tangible support to continue doing what they do best.
