Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free 'home away from home' accommodation to families while their child is in hospital. The houses are located as close as possible to specialist children’s hospitals across the UK.
This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life and reducing emotional and financial strain.
We speak to Sally Cannon, who tells us how the charity supports families in need.
