The Coalition Neurodivergent Peru (CNP) is an advocacy group that hosts picnics in Lima to provide safe spaces for neurodivergent people.

They aim to end discrimination with their meet-ups, by encouraging neurodivergent people to socialise without the pressures of social norms. The events are for people of all ages to feel part of a family and enjoy the company of others.

It’s so important to raise awareness of neurodivergence, but also to make space for neurodivergent people.

“Our positive message to the world is that it is okay to be different,” says co-founder Mayra Orellano.
