Louis has Down Syndrome and, up until a few years ago, was completely non-verbal - but that all changed thanks to the Free Kicks Foundation.

Tell Me More

The Free Kicks Foundation is a charity whose aim is to provide football-related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children. They connect kids with their favourite football clubs and, among other things, give them the chance to meet their favourite players.

What Else?

Since being a mascot through the Free Kicks Foundation, Louis began talking when before he was non-verbal, showing just how much of a positive impact work like this can have.

Louis’ story is told in the feel-good film, ‘Loving Football, Helping Children’, which has been entered into the Smiley Charity Film Awards.

How Can I Support the Free Kick Foundation?

The film ‘Loving Football, Helping Children’ is a finalist in the Smiley Charity Film Awards, the world's largest cause-based film campaign, where it talks about how football can be used as a tool to improve lives. To support the film, and the Free Kicks Foundation, you can follow this link to the Smiley Charity Film Awards Website where you can learn more about the charity, and how to help them.
